OCC is optical equipment that is especially designed for outdoor optical nodes in access network.  The installation location is nodes between Feeder cable (backbone fiber-optical cables) and Distribution cable.

Used as the interface device at the splice of the trunk cable and wiring cable in the access network. It is mainly used for the connection, distribution and scheduling of the outdoor cables, and it could actualize the weld, terminal, storage and scheduling of the optical fibers.

This cabinet is widely used in FTTX access network. It provides splice, storage, termination, splitting, customer cable routing functions etc., without cables patching, which effectively solves the problems resulted by traditional distribution devices, less adaptors and patch cords, less loss rate and defect points, safer network ,more capacity, convenient for cable management and upgrading, cost saving, and promoting the development of optical fibers.
