Utilizing advanced end-face polishing technology (APC, UPC, etc.), our patch cords achieve minimal signal loss. Usual single-mode insertion loss ≤ 0.2 dB, with return loss up to ≥ 50 dB (UPC) or ≥ 60 dB (APC), and transparent and stable signal transmission.
Made of superior quality optical fibers such as G.652D or G.657A, world-leading in high-quality bend-insensitive performance. The fibers ensure stable transmission irrespective of temperature, humidity, or mechanical stress change.
Supports all connector types, including LC, SC, FC, ST, and MPO. Supports multimode/single-mode, simplex/duplex, and full interoperability with installed network and telecom equipment.
All patch cables and pigtail are exposed to high-precision bonding, polishing, and curing to provide stable optical performance and mechanical ruggedness. Connectors are reliable and have 2000–5000 mating cycles without loss of performance.
We offer complete customization options — length, number of fibers, jacket type, color coding, and connector type can all be customized to meet specific project or OEM/ODM requirements for flexible deployment.
All products are IEC, RoHS, Telcordia GR-326, and ITU-T compliant. 100% of the cords are tested for insertion loss, return loss, and end-face geometry before shipment for reliable and consistent performance in every batch.
The Fiber Patch Cord is a critical building block that is used to connect optical distribution frames, communication equipment, and terminal modules.
Features: End-to-end pluggable connection, standardized connector design, and high durability with thousands of mating cycles.
Advantages: Highly versatile for deployment in modules, perfectly compatible with various racks, OLT/ONU devices, optical modules, and patch panels.
Fiber Pigtail is one end connector-terminated and bare fiber on the other, available to fusion-splice on trunk cable to establish long-term stable links.
Features: Light in weight and easy to manage for splicing and repair work.
Advantages: Reduces insertion loss by minimizing repeated plug-ins to offer more efficient transmission in optical networks.
Armored Patch Cord is a metal or hybrid metal-polymer protective sleeve that provides enhanced mechanical protection against rugged environments and external stress.
Features: Rodent-resistant, anti-interference design, tensile-resistant, and crush-resistant for enhanced ruggedization.
Advantages: Effectively transmits signal even under severe outdoor or industrial environments.
Each Patch Cord Pigtail connector is precisely polished and interferometer-tested to inspect end-face geometry, upon which stringent insertion loss and return loss tests (≤ 0.2 dB IL, ≥ 50 dB RL for UPC, ≥ 60 dB RL for APC) are performed in order to meet IEC and Telcordia GR-326 standards.
Each Patch Cord Pigtail is subjected to final visual examination, marking, and is individually packaged with test reports. Products are individually packaged in anti-static, shock-resistant cases for end-to-end traceability and safe transportation.
All optical fibers, connectors, and protective materials used in the Patch Cord Pigtail are carefully inspected for dimensional accuracy, coating quality, and optical characteristics before production begins.
Randomly sampled samples from every batch of Patch Cord Pigtails are subjected to bending, tensile, vibration, and temperature cycle tests for field stability and durability.
We undertake production runs of 500, 1,000, 5,000, or 10,000+ pieces with guaranteed consistency in every unit for medium and large-sized projects.
Typically, standard models can be shipped within 7–14 days. Lead time for custom or bulk orders is typically 3–4 weeks, depending on specifications and packaging requirements.
Individual product is individually packed in an anti-static bag with a protection sleeve, a test report, and identification labels. Special bulk orders are shipped in cartons or wooden pallets internationally in a secure way.
For large engineering projects, OMC offers phased delivery options — shipping in batches according to installation progress to ensure efficient on-site deployment.
Patch Cord Pigtails are applied, as a general principle, to connect trunk cables to splice trays, distribution panels, or wall-mount boxes for network termination and maintenance.
Patch Cord Pigtails are employed to join switches, patch panels, and servers for offering high-speed, low-loss interconnects in racks and cabinet systems for effective data transfer.
Ideal to connect OLTs, ONUs, or optical distribution frames to customer premises equipment, Patch Cord Pigtails provide a reliable connection for FTTH deployments.
Shielded or reinforced Patch Cord Pigtails are resistant to environmental factors such as rodents, dampness, mechanical stress, or vibration, and thus are suitable in tunnels, buried cables, and cable trays used in industries.
OMC is a trustworthy Patch Cord Pigtail supplier, offering high-quality, stable, and tailor-made fiber optic products.
