FTTA duplex patch cords are specially designed for wiring systems in extremely harsh environments. Armored duplex patch cord
Armored duplex patch cords are more rugged than ordinary fiber optic patch cords. In some harsh environments, ordinary fiber optic patch cords are easily affected by wind, rain, rat bites and low temperatures. After a long period of use, the surface is prone to wear and tear, affecting signal transmission. The armored patch cord is specially designed with a small flexible stainless steel sleeve to protect the optical fiber, and then a flame-retardant PVC coating is added to the outside of the sleeve to achieve moisture-proof and fire-proof functions. Armored fiber optic patch cords can be divided into single-mode and multi-mode, and their connector types are various, including LC, SC, FC, ST, LC/APC, SC/APC, FC/APC, etc.
Armored duplex patch cords are strong in tension and compression, are rat-proof, and are not easily damaged by stepping on. They can also be used in harsh outdoor environments with a lot of dust or prone to rodent damage.
IP67 FTTA waterproof duplex patch cord
The IP67 FTTA waterproof duplex patch cord complies with the Open Device Vendors Association (ODVA) standard and meets the IP66/67 environmental sealing level. It has a rugged PU jacket and armor for use in high temperatures or harsh environments. Among them, IP (Ingress Protection Rating) refers to the protection ability of optical fiber against solid and liquid particles. The first digit after IP refers to the solid protection level, ranging from 0-6, which indicates protection from large particles to dust; the second digit is the liquid protection level, which indicates protection from vertical water drops to underwater pressure. The larger the number, the higher the liquid protection level. According to the type of connector, IP67 waterproof fiber optic patch cord can be divided into IP67 MPO waterproof fiber optic cable, IP67 LC duplex patch cord, etc. IP67 duplex patch cord has the function of rodent proof, suitable for use in communication towers and CATV (community antenna television), industry, FTTA or other harsh environments to provide protection for the network.
Industrial-grade duplex patch cord
The industrial-grade duplex patch cord is made of SUS spring tube, Kevlar synthetic fiber, braided layer and TPU jacket, which has the advantages of impact resistance, pressure resistance and good flexibility. Its bending resistance, wear resistance, flame retardant and oil resistance also make it very suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, such as industrial environments that require rapid wiring or repeated retraction and use.
